Gloria Lin

Gloria Lin co-founded Immigration Law Group after over eight years of experience in immigration law, both as a law clerk, and as an attorney. Her extensive legal experience spans the entire spectrum of immigration law, from successfully processing high-volume non-immigrant petitions, labor certifications, and immigrant petitions, to family-based petitions and asylum cases.

Prior to establishing Immigration Law Group, Gloria was the Managing Partner at Lin & Bui, Attorneys at Law, where she handled primarily corporate immigration matters. Her practice focused on small to medium sized high-tech startups, and as such, Gloria's particular emphasis evolved around the type of immigration issues and concerns commonly faced by younger, emerging companies.

An active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Gloria has served as the Chairperson for the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of AILA. Gloria also held positions as Chair Elect and Newsletter Editor for the chapter. Her numerous notable contributions in AILA include serving as Editor in Chief of an immigration handbook written exclusively for the annual California Chapters Conference hosted by the Santa Clara Valley chapter of AILA.

A firm believer in public service and providing pro bono legal representation, Gloria also serves as a Volunteer Attorney with the Asian Community Immigration Clinic at the Asian Law Alliance in San Jose, California where she has volunteered her services since 1995. In this capacity, Gloria counsels low-income individuals in various immigration issues. She also leads immigration training seminars for student volunteers at Stanford Law School.

Gloria received her baccalaureate degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Rhetoric and received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. She is admitted to practice in California, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
