Clifton Wu is co-founder and managing partner of ILG. Clifton Immigrated to the United States himself at age 6 and went on to earn his J.D. from Santa Clara University in 1998. He served as Technical Editor of the distinguished Santa Clara Law Review during that time.
Clifton began his career working at one of the largest immigration law firm in the Bay Area for two years and gained valuable experience as an employment-based immigration law attorney. But seeking to fulfill a clear market need for individualized and effective service, he co-founded ILG in 2001 to provide corporate clients cost-effective, personalized representation in a rapidly-changing global marketplace. Clifton has a vast professional and personal network of C-level executives who keep him informed on operational matters related to foreign national personnel and immigration law which allows him to tailor services to anticipate and address both company-specific and industry needs.
Clifton is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is a youth basketball coach and stays active in several sports himself. Clifton lives in Los Altos, California with his wife and three children. He loves traveling and spending time with his family.
