USCIS Confirms Completion of FY 2025 H-1B Cap Selections After a Second-Round Selection

USCIS confirmed today that it has selected enough H1B cap registrations to reach the FY 2025 limit of 65,000 regular cap selections and 20,000 advanced degree cap selections, after it completed a second-round random selection process.

ILG has completed another review our H1B registration accounts to ascertain whether additional selections were made for our clients, and we have notified all clients of their second-round selections, if any.

Related: during the March 2024 registration period, approximately 442,000 unique beneficiaries were registered for cap-subject H1Bs with USCIS. USCIS selected 114,017 registrations (25.8% selection rate).  USCIS selected more registrations than the cap of 85,000 to account for selections that do not lead to a filing, as well as for filings that are denied, withdrawn, or revoked.
