The Department of State has just released the much anticipated Visa Bulletin for October 2012, which is the first visa bulletin of fiscal year 2013 (FY2013). EB-2 India priority date will shockingly move to September 1, 2004, which is a significant change from previous predictions given by the Department of State’s Visa Office. The October 2012 Visa Bulletin does not include any explanations or predictions of further cut-off date movement.
As predicted, the cut-off date for EB-2 China will be July 15, 2007. All other countries will have a cut-off date of January 1, 2012 during the month of October 2012, which will likely become current in the up-coming November Visa Bulletin.
EB-3 India will advance 1 week; whereas EB-3 China will advance approximately 2 months EB-3 for other countries will advance approximately 3 weeks.
