H-4 EAD Rescission Regulation Pending Review at OMB

The proposed regulation for rescinding H4 EADs was sent to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on February 20, 2019, and is currently pending review. Once OMB completes its review, a notice of proposed rulemaking will be published in the Federal Register and will be open to the public for comment. The proposed regulation will not take effect until finalized by Department of Homeland Security, a process that typically takes several months.
